This morning I got up at 6:30, got dressed, and headed out for a walk. I decided to change things up and walk outside of our gated community... I really needed a change of scenery! This did the trick, I managed to walk longer for the first time and I even beat my current pace! Super proud!! Tomorrow is day one of my 5k training and this will I'll be doing 1 mile in the morning - mon, wens, fri. Excited to start training! I'm going to add strength training on my off days instead of walking (I still walk in the evening though).
