This morning I did the Spaceballs 5k and tried out my intervals plan.... I failed but I didn't "fail" in a bad way. I tried and pushed myself the best I could and that was what mattered the most to me! Doing the intervals started me off too hard so I burned out after the first mile, then picked up my pace again in the 3rd mile. I also messed up my first mile by not pausing my Garmin when having to stop for a second, lesson learned! Haha!
I felt really good after this 5k, I wanted to add in another mile but the ball of my right foot was getting sore. I used my old Saucony's for this walk, they worked well but for sure need new insoles. Still torn on what shoes to wear for next Saturday's 10k.
